Did you know that you’re not free to choose what you want?
There are loads of beliefs and automatic thoughts in your mind that decide for you, even if you don’t notice it.
I’m an ordinary person, just like you, with strengths and weaknesses.
The only difference that there may be between you and me is that I found a way to manage my emotions, thoughts, and actions, and because I know the road, I can accompany you today.
Do you know what mainly causes emotional problems?
First, let me tell you a story…
I met Ana a few years ago.
She was a capable person.
Independent
and fighter.
She’d moved on with her life despite all the difficulties she’d had.
Ana didn’t believe in psychologists.
In fact, she thought they “only helped” people who had lost their minds,
and her mind
was sturdily on her shoulders.
When she had any problems, she searched for solutions on the internet or spoke with a friend, and that was enough to continue “pushing through” in life.
However,
despite her appearance
as a self-sufficient woman
who didn’t need anyone’s help…
Ana had a secret
And she knew how to hide it perfectly.
Deep down, within her being,
she didn’t believe in herself
and she doubted herself
constantly.
(Without realizing it) this made her
behave in a certain way.
She demanded a lot of herself.
She spent hours preparing for everything
because whatever she did,
was never good enough.
When she expressed an opposite opinion,
to any of her colleagues or friends,
her mind,
replayed and evaluated
everything that she’d
done
said
or felt
over and over again.
And all this drained her.
One day,
exhausted by her insecurity and mental criticism,
she found one of my articles on the internet,
which spoke about increasing one’s self-confidence.
Until that moment, she hadn’t even considered that this could be a problem for her.
But that article offered her a different perspective.
So, she decided to hire my individual psychotherapy/coaching service.
And even though at the beginning,
she had a hard time opening up,
slowly…
we were able to get rid of many of her false beliefs
that caused her sadness, anger and fear.
Session after session, she learned to value and prioritize herself.
And that’s the answer to the question I asked at the beginning,
Leaving yourself last causes most emotional problems,
namely,
not prioritizing yourself.
And confusing self-love with selfishness.
Does this mean that Ana no longer has any problems or difficulties in life?
No.
Life gives us all problems and challenges that we have to overcome, no exception.
But now Ana has strategies and resources to know what to do.
If, like Ana, you need tools, I’ll explain some things we can work on and that you can achieve,
if you decide to follow a psychotherapy process with me:
Identify and work on those beliefs that burden you in life and that limit you, even if you don’t realize it.
A very powerful resource to identify exactly what you’re doing to maintain your problem.
The reason most people “feel” bad and which isn’t related to emotions.
Why if you don’t understand what is going through your mind and your emotions, you’ll suffer a lot.
I’ll teach you some Mindfulness exercises so you can live more in the present and not jump between your past and future.
We’ve all felt insecure at some point in life.
It’s normal.
We aren’t gods, we don’t know everything at any time.
But allowing yourself to be helped and guided, from time to time, broadens your options.
It offers you alternatives so you can see your problem or challenge from a different point of view.
And, just by seeing it from a different perspective, you may be able to find new solutions.
You’ll save yourself a lot of tears for things or people that don’t deserve them.
The best exercise I know (and that works for all my clients) to confront your fears.
The 2 most important questions that you can ask yourself to improve your self-esteem.
Shine again by removing all the “poison” you have inside, like negative thoughts and emotions.
Because not knowing about emotional management can cause you to make wrong decisions.
For a while many people crossed my limits, but I learned a formula to confront them. I explain it to you step by step.
One can achieve a huge change with a psychotherapy process, and I know it, because I experienced it.
The best tools to trust yourself, and how to use language to achieve it.
2 different ways to work on past wounds so you can close them, so they don’t hurt anymore.
Some of my clients feel bad because they’re looking for solutions in the wrong place. I’ll show you exactly where to look so this doesn’t happen to you.
Different techniques that will help you control your peace of mind when everything seems uncontrollable.
A simple way to stop those who steal your energy and patience.
Stop depending on other people’s opinions by doing a simple exercise.
How to use life’s challenges to turn them into a teaching moment.
Ending criticism and hatred towards yourself to become your best ally.
How to assess your results by shifting your focus, which I learned from a video about patience.
How to avoid making the wrong decision by asking yourself right questions.
Will I get the tools to know what to do in every situation?
Yes, and consider that the tools you’ll learn and apply in a psychotherapy/coaching process are for life. Once you know how to face a specific fear, you can apply the same technique for all kinds of fears.
Once you know how to communicate to set limits, you can apply that in different situations and with different people.
You have 3 options regarding the psychotherapy/coaching service:
Single Session (1 hour) – 75.- €
We’ll analyze your current situation (where you are) and your goal (where you want to go)
We’ll assess what you’ve done so far to achieve it and I’ll give you a way to approach it from a different angle.
3-session pack (1h each) – 210.- €
(each session costs 70.- €)
We’ll start from your current situation, what you want and what you’ve (unsuccessfully) tested to achieve it.
We’ll block what doesn’t work and I’ll give you different strategies/resources to guide you towards your goal.
5-session pack (1h each) – 325.- €
(each session costs 65.- €)
Also starting from your current situation, what you want, what doesn’t work for you or any blockages you may be facing.
We’ll try different strategies and exercises depending on what you need to discard whatever is preventing you from moving forward.
So you can overcome your problem or achieve your challenge, in the shortest possible time.
If you want to have an individual psychotherapy / coaching session with me:
Frequently Asked Questions
How often are the sessions held?
Sessions can be done weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Depending on the problem and objective, we’ll agree on the best option for you.
Isn’t it a bit expensive?
Its expensiveness or cheapness depends on the value you give to your goal.
How important is it for you to feel good, to be comfortable with yourself, to regain your confidence, increase your self-esteem, and set limits…? How valuable are these things to you?
If this is important to you, why should investing in yourself seem expensive?
What does a psychotherapy/coaching session consist of? What will we do during the session?
First, we’ll define your goal. Do you want to overcome a problem or achieve a challenge?
Once the goal is clear, we’ll assess the solutions you’ve tried to fix it and see if those solutions helped or made the problem worse.
Then, we may have to block some solutions that didn’t work for you to gain others that may have better results.
I’ll give you some “homework” so you can practice between sessions.
Miriam, but I don’t feel that bad…
You don’t need to feel “bad” to undergo a psychotherapy process. It’s better if you start now that you aren’t “that bad” and that you have the energy to act and make changes, than to wait until you feel terrible, as we’d have to focus on getting you off the ground.
I’ve already had other therapies and they didn’t work for me, why will yours work for me?
Unfortunately, I’ve met other people who’ve gone through other psychotherapy/coaching processes with “dubious” results.
I promise to go to the core of your problem and give you resources and strategies that will help you manage what’s happening to you.
I can also tell you that many of my clients have come back to me after months or years, when other problems arose. And if they come back… it must be because they were satisfied with the results.
I see that you have single sessions or packs for several sessions. If I buy the pack, do I have to pay for it in one go or can I pay for it bit by bit?
No. The pack is paid in a single payment, which lowers the price per session.
A single session costs € 70.- per hour. In the 3-pack you pay € 195.- but the hour costs € 65.- and in the 5-pack you pay € 300.- but the session costs € 60.-.
What if I buy a pack and then don’t use all the sessions?
If you have a problem and aren’t able to do any of the sessions, you’ll have one YEAR from your pack’s date of purchase, to perform the sessions that you didn’t use.
If you can’t, another option is to give them to someone else. And, if you can’t use them and don’t want to give them away, we can agree on a refund.
Of course, as long as it’s within the one-year period. You cannot come back 3 years later and ask for a refund.
Do you only do it online or do you also do it in person? Is the price the same?
Generally, I do it online, but sometimes, if you live in Barcelona or Stockholm, we can do the session in person. The price is the same online or in person, but in person, you’ll have to add the time and money for your commute.
What do I need to carry out an online session?
You’ll need a computer, mobile or tablet with an internet connection.
I usually use zoom for my online sessions. I’ll send you a link to the room so that you can connect on the agreed date and time and, if you haven’t installed zoom, that same link will give you the instructions to download it.
Who is a psychotherapy/coaching process for?
It will help you if…
You know there’s something you want to change in your life, in your relationships, with yourself… but you don’t know how to do it and you don’t have the tools you need.
You’re willing to invest in yourself and spend some time learning strategies and resources that can make life much easier, not immediately (which may also happen) but in the medium/long term.
Don’t buy it if…
You’re a person who wants things for right now. I remind you that psychotherapy/coaching is a process and that results usually come gradually and as you put implement what you’ve learned.
If you consider that investing in personal growth is silly and useless.
If you think that you can solve everything by yourself, although if that’s the case, I imagine you wouldn’t be reading this.
Is it a good investment?
Do you know how many problems, sufferings, and misunderstandings you can spare yourself?
When you can look at what’s happening to you “with different eyes”, you gain the freedom to choose what you want or don’t want to do.
Otherwise, you remain trapped in an automatic unconscious stimulus-response system.
To me, this isn’t just a good investment, it’s the best thing you can do for yourself.
But only you can make that decision.
I remind you of the three options:
Single 1h session: 75.- €
You’ll gain clarity on what you need to achieve your challenge or overcome your problem.
3-session pack (1 hour each): 210.- €
We’ll set your goals and block whatever is preventing you from moving forward.
5-session pack (1 hour each): 325.- €
We’ll set your goals, unlock the situation, and use different strategies to get what you want.
This is what some people who’ve worked with me have said
Laura Vidal
“Miriam taught me to listen to myself, to name my emotions and evaluate what I could do to transform them into something positive.
She was my “traveling companion”, yes, she accompanied me and watched over me until I felt that I was ready to continue on my own.
And so I began to make decisions that I would’ve never considered had it not been for therapy.”
Sandra Rivera
“Miriam has been present in various stages of my life. She has always managed to make me see the other side of things, to value and love myself for who I am, for what I’m worth, to fight for what matters to me and, above all, to listen to myself, to know what I want and need at all times.
I’m very grateful, because I’ve been able to take steps and grow as a person”.
Andrea Avila
“I can’t describe how lucky I was to find Miriam. An excellent professional, with an incredible gift for listening, understanding and guiding people through the best way to solve everything that isn’t allowing them to be at peace with themselves.
For me, she has been a companion on this journey, she’s made me wonder why it’s important to worry, reflect, channel my emotions and dedicate my energy to what is truly necessary”.
