What would you like to happen in your life?
Sometimes we don’t know how to handle certain situations or don’t know how to get the results we want. There are many areas in which we could improve as:
– Change or improve at work
– Improve our relationships
– Find a person to share my life with
– Develop my emotional intelligence
– Grow as a person
– Etc.
The first thing is to decide what do I want? That will be your goal.
You’ll have to ask if that goal is specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and then you will need to analyze at what point you are and what do you need.
For sure that you have many resources like will, creativity, enthusiasm, desire, some knowledge about what you want to achieve or some skills on something specific and you might also know someone who has already achieved what you want or can help you showing the way. So, depending on your purpose you have to wonder, with all the resources I have already and the goal I want to achieve, what am I missing? What do I need? Do I need more experience? More training? Who can help me or guide?
And then you will have to ask yourself, what is the next step? The immediate one, the smallest towards my goal. You will have to make a plan of actions to perform and set a date. For objectives, is usually planned at 3 or 6 months or 1 year and for the goals you can Schedule them daily, weekly or monthly.
Finally, remember that sometimes our mind is so used to doing “the same as usual”, therefore, it will cost you start thinking, planning, taking decisions. You will have to make an effort, perhaps, but don’t let your mind limit you.
