I think I read this phrase in a book of Raimón Samsó Raimón Samsó, and struck me.
You used to be located in the negative?
Do you tend to see all the things you can lose BEFORE of what you can win?
If you usually happens, do not worry, it happens to many.
The question is:
Can I change this so automatic habit?
Experts say they need 21 days in a row to establish a new habit.
Although it seems difficult to change something that comes to us from a “natural” way (learned, of course), the important thing is that:
Yes, you can change.
But for this, you’ll have to fight your own mind.
And I assure you, it will not be easy.
Because when long have you been thinking a certain way, neural connections in your brain, have created their own way to pass information.
I will put an example to be better understood.
Every time you go to work, you go down the same path.
Imagine you’re wearing and 5 years taking the same streets, crossing at the same traffic light and passing in front of the same stores.
You could almost make way with his eyes closed.
This is the way a habit is established … repeats and repeats, until it is “recorded” in our memory.
Then, it becomes automatic, so that the brain does not have to work.
Imagine that one day, decide to change course.
Your brain would think something like this:
“What? What happened? This is not the usual way!”
“I’ll have to pay attention because if not, I can not miss and get to work on time”.
The brain will have to get to work, to collect data on the new path.
Thus, a new “neural network,” a new synapse is created.
A neuron sends new information to another neuron, but for a different road.
But beware!
If only I change my way one day, that connection will be so weak that, if the next day, I again take the road forever, my brain will “forget” that alternative, and return to his routine.
That is to relax, and continue to use prior learning.
Therefore, it is important to repeat 21 days in a row the same mental habit, so that the information to be recorded.
Focus on the positive
Think of what you can earn is a way to focus on the positive.
Why,
What happens when you focus on the negative
Imagine you have a problem, whatever it is, and just talk about that problem …
For example, when you spend the day talking about the crisis, how bad is the country of the few job opportunities there …
One day after day.
A week and another.
What do you think you’ll be an expert in crisis or possible solutions to overcome them?
Exact.
The more you concentrate on the problem and not the solution, you end up being an expert in trouble.
And that does not interest you.
Because it does not take you anywhere.
It does not offer alternatives to leaving your problem.
It does not give you valuable information to apply.
Another example,
A person who is afraid of something.
If you are always aware of his fear.
Speaking of how limited is their life, to have that fear.
Avoiding all the things that scare you.
Do you think I will get over it?
I see it difficult.
It is to accept the situation: fear, crisis, disability or problem that each is living.
And then decide if you can do something about it.
Setting goals
We accept the fact that “no crisis” or “is a delicate socio-economic moment.”
The question is: What can you do?
Maybe …
You could switch to a new profession.
I formed.
Studying a language.
Improve your weaknesses.
Set a goal and ask yourself what you can win.
- If you switch to a new profession, you could access more job options.
- If you form, you can become an expert on your topic.
- If you learn a language, you could access foreign companies, or even to work in another country.
By focusing your attention on what you can win, you focus forward toward the future, toward your goals.
Because otherwise, you stay stagnant and not go along.
A little exercise
I think this exercise as I have said on another post, but I remember it.
When you happen to catch yourself thinking negatively, in all the things that you can lose, in all difficulties or problems you can have …
For every negative thought, you will have to “make you think” two positive thoughts.
This is the way to keep your mind control you, and make you live in your limited reality.
For instance,
1 Negative thinking: “ I will not be able to get it”
2 Positive thoughts:
- “I’m a person with resources, if not leave me as I want, I can try something else.”
- “In addition, it takes practice long before something goes fluid”.
In each situation, I can lose things, but I can also win them.
And so it is very important that you who direct your mind to focus it on what you’re interested in.
So ask what I can win?
Finally, I put my own answer.
It Will average about 2 years and about the company where he worked closed because of the crisis, and I was unemployed, like so many other Spaniards.
My goal: To undertake my personal and professional project
What I can win?
Offer my knowledge and experience to many more people
Use a new way to communicate
Stop working for others
Collaborate with others
The satisfaction of choosing the life I want …
And you?
What is your goal?
What can you win?
Practice what I’ve told you in this post, leaving me your comments about the goal that you set out, and what you can win.
